System Components

• Outer pierced floral arabesque border panels — four carved panels running along each side of the ceiling perimeter, hand-carved in full openwork with dense acanthus leaf and floral vine arabesque. Light passes through the carving, casting intricate shadow patterns on the ceiling field and upper walls
• Carved corner blocks — four precision-carved corner pieces where the border panels meet at 90°, each featuring the same floral arabesque relief to complete the frame seamlessly
• Vertical cedar reed slat dividers — geometric parallel slat elements positioned at top and bottom centre, providing a clean structural transition between the carved border and the central plaster field. A subtle contemporary detail that balances the organic arabesque with modern linearity
• Recessed white plaster centre field — the system is designed around a clean, open central ceiling field — allowing the carved frame to define and celebrate the negative space rather than fill it
